Scuba Diving in Curaçao:
Scuba diving at LionsDive Beach Resort in Curaçao offers an exceptional Caribbean experience for divers of all skill levels. Divers can explore a variety of nearby sites, including vibrant coral reefs, intriguing wrecks like the Superior Producer, and unique formations such as the Mushroom Forest. The resort’s house reef, Stella Maris, is easily accessible for guided shore dives, providing a convenient option for underwater exploration. Ocean Encounters also offers specialized dives, including night dives and lionfish hunts, as well as courses in coral restoration through their partnership with Reef Renewal Curaçao. Giving Back to the Community
Along with diving, this mission trip includes typically three afternoons dedicated to community service. Participants will engage in meaningful projects, such as supporting local schools, eyeglass ministry, food distribution, light carpentry & painting projects, working with local orphanages, and partnering with churches to assist in community outreach programs. The outreach culminates with a free community cook-out where we show the JESUS Film and are available for prayer afterwards. These activities provide an opportunity to build relationships, share faith, and leave a positive impact on the island while experiencing its culture and hospitality. This combination of diving and service makes the trip a fulfilling and life-changing experience.
